Fat Food
Do you know of great place to get tasty food but at a reasonable price? What comes to my mind is Wendy’s, McDonalds, White Castle, Pizza Hut and many more other food chains. They have just about everything for anyone’s appetite. There’s burgers, fries, chicken nuggets, Shakes, baked potatoes, chili just a little of everything. But because of all these great deals, obesity is at high level for all ages. From 1962 to the year 2000, the number of obese Americans grew from 13% to an alarming 31% of the population. Childhood obesity in the United States has more than tripled in the past two decades. Overall 63% of Americans are overweight. From the U.S. Surgeon General report, obesity is responsible for 300,000 deaths every year. Most likely if Americas eating habits don’t change then the future will show higher death rates then there is now. A reasonable solution to fix this problem we could eat smaller portions or instead of eating fast food meals, we could eat more healthy home meals.
