I can relate to Tuhin Charkraborty personal experience with believing that statues were people frozen in time. Greco-Roman style statues are extremely detailed which make it seem as if they could come to life at any given moment. Simply walking by a statues feels as if the statue's eyes  are watching and following you but in reality the statue is sedimentary and not living at all. When Charkraborty was young, his parents would tell him that spirits and ghost didn’t exist. I can relate to that because my father would constantly address the fact that ghost and spirit don’t exist and it was just a part of my imagination. Having that belief denied seemed reasonable but my sisters and I never stopped believing ghost, spirits, and other entities exist in our world.
