This heartwarming back to school story on, A Letter to My Middle School Self, really delved deep into a students school experience's with their social life. The mistakes we made as a kid reflects heavily later in our lives. Sometimes, we grow up being more ourselves rather than living up to societies standards as the "good student," and no matter what, our decisions always make us feel a little more free. This story relates exceptionally with students who had to deal with stress or anxiety. Schools always have some sort of standard for students, but believing that there's no "end of the world" if you don't try hard enough to be an A student, you can honestly feel emotionally lighter and free. Thank you, Patience, for inspirng so many students who are not sure of themselves, or struggle to be the best while sacrficing their own enjoyement, to enjoy life the way they want throughout their school life.

The author's comments:

I really wanted to respect the author brave enough to write about their personal issues, and their ability to inspire others in her situation, even if it would receive backlash from others who can't appreciate this work.
