The Modern Zoo: Saving Species from Extinction
I found Wilson Sherman's article "The Moderen Zoo: Saving Species from Extinction" extremely moving, the author talks about a zoo being a safe place for animals, and that zoos prevent animals from being extinct. The author writes "When I think of zoos, I think of a place where people become inspired to protect nature because they get to see healthy, happy animals in naturalistic exhibits". People think that zoos are like a jail for animals, but they don't realize that they are keeping animals safe from predetors and preventing extiction. This is why I enjoyed Wilson Sherman's article.
