The Moment That Changed Me
I can relate to his feelings and just his event in general. Last year was my first year in Ayersville. I played football, wrestling, and ran track. Football was the first sport I played last year, but my paperwork had not been finished for OHSAA exceptions. I had to sit for the first 4-5 games before I was giving a chance. I went through all the practices and pregame warm-ups but could never play yet. I remember we were facing Antwerp, it was the second half of the game and one of my teammates got concussed on a kickoff. I was put into the game at his spot as a linebacker. From then on I started at linebacker the rest of the season. Then this year, I went through all the two a days, 7on7s, and scrimmages. Our third game of the season, not even a conference game, I was on fire. I had 6 tackles already in first quarter. We kicked off to them and they were on offense. One bad move on defense and my season was over. I tore my acl and meniscus.
