Obsessed
I disagree with Cana N. in her review about the movie, Obsessed. As an actress, I thought Beyonce` Knowles did a superb job. She broke free of her stereotypical role of a musical actress and, in my opinion, is finally viewed as a serious actor. Cana writes, "Almost every move that Lisa (who eventually becomes a deranged stalker) has up her sleeve can be easily predicted." I'm sorry but the play by play actin kept me and my friends on the edge of our seats! I also thought the lead male character, Derek, played by Idris Elbe, brought a strong presence in the film. He would appear calm and collected when really he was torn and confused. All my kudos go to Ali Larter, who played Lisa. She did her job well without showing up the other characters. All in all, I thought Steve Shill directed an amazing movie with a talented cast!
