Feedback for "Lighten Up!" MAG
I could not agree any more with Alex D., who wrote complaining about the lack of humor in teen writing. Angst, he says, is seen far too often in Teen Ink and should be replaced with lively, humorous stories. This would please me a great deal also. I, too, am a fan of the authors he admires.
Humor, when written or read, truly has the power to evoke a feeling that other genres can't. Humor is uplifting and has an appropriate place in this magazine.
Thank you, Alex, for bringing this to Teen Ink's attention; I'll be looking out for more humorous articles.
Editor's note: We love humor as much as you do, but if you don't submit it, we can't publish it! Thanks for this needed call for light-hearted submissions.
