Fallen Birds
I enjoyed Erin G.'s article, "Fallen Birds." I also liked how Erin compared the dead birds to Africa and how people say that they would rather not think about either of them. After reading it, I began to think of all of the misfortunes that go on around the world and how no one does anything about it. The philosophy, "try not to think about it," is true for most people. However, I believe that we should try to do something instead of ignoring the fact because we do not think anything more can be done. Thank you, Erin, for drawing attention to this troubling philosophy.
