Cancer Never Had Me
In the poem “Cancer Never Had Me” Emily R. described the awful, painful experience of having cancer and it brought back memories from a few years ago when cancer had someone I loved. Two years ago my grandma lost her battle with cancer, and it really was amazing to read a story from someone who beat this horrible disease.
It was terrible to see my grandma being taken by cancer and this story told an amazing tale of someone who got cancer and was young and fought back and defeated it. This story really touched me and said that there is hope and that we can conquer cancer.
