I really appreciate the addition of the video section on TeenInk.com. I think teen filmmaking is something that's sorely overlooked currently. When I went to post some of my work on your site, I was excited to finally have an audience.

But then I saw that there's a six-minute cutoff for length, and I got discouraged. While any video section is great, I think this rule might leave some people out.

I've made a few longer films (and I use the term loosely) that don't fit into that time constraint. Ten or 15 minutes would be a lot easier to work with.

So is the six-minute cutoff absolute? Admitting longer films would add diversity.

Editor's note: We're still rolling out this feature on our site and will consider extending the max length in the future. For now, hopefully you can edit your longer work down or submit it in installments.

Filmmaking is basically what I want to do with my life, and I think the video section on here is very promising, but not perfect.

Yeah, I agree. I like the fact that as the times progress, teenink is not left behind. The video section brings to our attention a whole new way to be creative and show others what we can do through video. Oh and I can't wait to check out your video, "Action Sequence!"
