I understand why the author would feel this way, but I still think it should be a limit on what people say. There are children around, and they do not need to hear that kind of language from people outside the family. People can take those kinds of words offensive, and that could cause more issues like fighting or more bickering. Yes, it should be under freedom of speech, but I think those sorts of words or phrases should be kept to oneself.
