We Need to Talk
Joe Linccion's intense article entitled "We Need to Talk" gives us an inside look on an everyday teenager dealing with arguing parents on a daily basis. In this nonfiction essay, a teenage boy uses music as a scape goat from a hostile environment at home. I believe that, unfortunately, many teens nowadays can relate to this. Personally, I also choose to use music to block out the rest of the world when I've had enough. hopefully this article will show teens that there are different ways to get their minds off of things, such as sports, clubs, and music, without relying in drugs or alcohol.
