Guatemalan Sunshine
Sarah H.’s article on her service experience was very interesting and descriptive. The details Sarah included in “Guatemalan Sunshine” about Guatemala were so vivid, I felt as if I were in Guatemala myself, especially when she contrasted it with the shivery weather of Michigan. It was interesting to learn about how soccer is a way of life in Guatemala. I was ecstatic to hear about the joy she evoked from the locals who played soccer by cleaning up their soccer field. I’m glad Sarah had the opportunity to feel the joy of the impoverished Guatemalans even though they had close to nothing. Thank you very much for this heartwarming article, Sarah.
