Response to " What I'm Worth"
Jessica's writing astonished me with it's real world connection to high school. Jessica writes about her attempts to fit in and how how it affects her outlook about herself. She starts by explaining how she starts her morning by curling her hair until its good enough. Then she goes on to talk about her applying so much makeup that she doesn't look like her self anymore. Finally she gets dressed and looks in the mirror and decides she's looks good enough. All of the other girls that don't look as good as her will tell her how great she looks at school.
