A Goal
I really connected to Jordan D.'s piece. I also play football and the way he described the tenseness before the play begins was almost like he was describing my own emotions. Seeing the defense and planning how to get the running back into the end zone are the most heart-pounding and intense moments in the game. But when the quarterback gets the ball, it all comes together and I launch myself into the opposing team’s line. I felt this story was very expressive and powerful. I liked how the piece was very succinct and easy to read and it didn’t ramble on like some I have read.
