Love And Sadness
I’ve noticed that a lot of the poetry on Teen Ink has to do with some kind of heartbreak or element of love and sadness. Grief and meaninglessness is becoming romanticized slowly, and turned into a trend. The people with these genuine feelings are being drowned out by the people who are trying too hard to relate. It is sort of like a The-Boy-Who-Cried-Wolf epidemic. So many are crying out it’s hard to tell which are real and which aren’t.
