Blessings and Amends
This was a rather random, yet interesting story. Something similar happen to me once. I took a book from my third grade teacher. But I didn’t wait eight years to return it like this person did. I only waited two. Even though the book was probably only 50 pages thick, it felt like it weighed a ton when I took it back to my old teacher. I imagine the ball that the author of this story took off her teacher’s desk felt heavier than it was as well.
