I can’t agree with Nathan O.’s article, “Teens in the NBA.” I don’t think there should be a “no-teenagers” rule. It should be up to the players; it’s their futures so let them do what they want with it. Tim Duncan was smart to play all four years in college. But LeBron James was also smart to go straight to the NBA from high school.

Then there are the bad decisions: have you heard of Kwame Brown? Probably not, right? That’s because he went straight into the NBA from high school and is now spending his career riding the bench. So it all depends on the player, and they shouldn’t all be clumped into the same category.
