A Hairy Tale
I found Sydney R.'s article "a Hairy Tale" to be extremely moving because it's all about female empowerment and just the whole message it symbolizes is great. I think her article is powerful because it's all about her taking a stand and going out on a limb to not be like everyone else. She makes a good point when she mentions how people are willing to accept sexual orientation, race, and religion yet they can't stand the sight of a women who doesn't shave. It tells alot how bad society has gotten where a girl can be considered grotesque and teased for wearing the natural hair she was born with. Furthermore, I think it's really propostrous how she lost friends simply because she chose not to shave. Everyone should read this article because it shows you that regardless of what anybody says you should always feel comfortable in your own skin. So, a big round of applause to Sydney for her outstanding article "A Hairy Tale".
