Thanksgiving
I found this article “Thanksgiving” by Jessica to have many similar impacts to many life. About 6 months ago, I moved with my mom, youngest sister, step-brother, and step-father. I have also felt an emptiness inside of me like you do, I honestly miss my family that I felt I left behind. Being the fact that I have no relatives or family where we recently moved, there’s no one to spend the family oriented holidays with. This thanksgiving I also spent alone because my mom had to work. And there isn’t really any big happy family surrounding me, that I would usually say I’m thankful for. So there wasn’t any turkey spirit left in me without my gravy. I sat alone and, stared at empty chairs along with you, thinking about what the other holidays would be or end up like.
