Slipping Away
I can relate to Sarah Goldberg's poem "Slipping Away". The title itself caught my eye. By using different similes and metaphors such as, "I grasp your hand as if it's the last piece of earth I hold before falling off a cliff," sets clear imagery throughout the whole poem. I can relate because I've been through a situation where I felt someone slipping away from me. Sarah Goldberg couldn't of described the feeling of loosing someone any better than she did! So Thank you for the moving and breathtaking poem!
