Unbalanced by Viridiana R. When I read this I connected on a new level with someone I have never met. I love how she stated about the emotions of happiness someone feels with love, but I also like how she put the painfulness of love in the writing too. I can say that this has personally happened at my school. Why? Because I have felt this pain and happiness all at once. I would have never thought of it that deep when she goes into detail about how love comes with sacrifice. I love how she puts so much emotion into a short writing; to me this is very powerful. It’s powerful because I have been in a situation where I gave all I could to a person because I loved them with everything. Yet somehow I could feel my heart drop to the pit of my stomach and physically feel my chest hurting because, well, I knew that I would never end up with the person I was madly in love with. So yes, I know almost exactly what it’s like to have someone bring you so high up yet let you fall, I know what it’s like to be in love. Yes, it is a blessing but it can also be a curse. Being loved is one of the best feelings in the world but loving someone who loves another can be devastating mentally and physically. This is why I agree with Viridiana because she understands that to be in love you have to give and take. It just depends, who’s the person you’re willing to lose track of normality for.
