Gun Girl
My breath was taken from me as the words "I'm going to die," came across my eye. The nightmarish experience that Violet experienced was by far the most frighteningly accurate picture of a school shooting. Everything she mentioned was perfectly pinpointed as if I could be in her very position in the mercy of the boy armed with a gun. I could feel the severity and the threat of the gun as it could pierce me with a bullet anytime.
Luckily, Violet was not harmed neither was the misunderstood boy with the gun. She was able to alert a teacher and protect everyone including the boy with the gun, whom had planned to suicide. As a male, my masculinity could not compare to Violet's courageousness. Violet took the time to detail an experience that I am foreign to, and I appreciate her efforts. I hope to see another piece from you soon, and please take my breath away once more.
