In the article “Monopoly” by Roger L. of Austin, Texas I can relate to how he felt because I have older siblings and they are always more dominant at the start, but as you tend to age and become more wise you see that they have flaws and that you may not want to be like them.  Roger was able to explain the whole childhood of any sibling by just explaining how one simple game was played.  Roger knows that his brother has done something bad but he will never know because his parents do think he will be able to handle it.  Roger’s brother use to be the one loved by everyone in the family and that’s explained by roger when he says, “… a best friend to everyone in our family.”  Now everyone seems to ignore him and Roger can’t tell why but he does know that he has done some horrible crime.  Roger also says, “I do know that I won’t be asking you for a loan.”  To me this saying that he has lost hope and trust in his brother which is not a good thing because Roger’s brother needs him more than ever because it seems as if he is the only one who still has the slightest hope in him.
