Acting MAG
I immensely enjoyed reading “Acting” by Kamryn H. Her words played off each other in a very fluid way. I enjoyed the way she compared acting to the sense of pretend that’s found in so many high school relationships. It’s like a battle is raging inside the poem.
It makes me wonder how it would feel knowing that someone is lying to your face, but doing it so well you almost let yourself believe it. Then in the end you feel like a fool because you knew all along it was just an act.
Great, great poem. Magnificent description of the battle of manipulation in love.
