With my black Ray-Ban glasses, I scanned the magazine until my eyes landed on an all too familiar word: 4-eyed. "4-Eyed Family," by Erika Lund, would capture the eyes of anyone who owns glasses. In Lund's piece, her whole family wears glasses for different reasons. Between people who wear glasses permanently or temporarily, they all find the reason why they wear them. 

     As a person who has about 300 degrees for both eyes, I wear my glasses 24/7. Having glasses for more than 6 years, they're very important to me. Lund said, "We all see the world a little bit differently, but only because our glasses make this possible." I view my glasses as if it is a television screen. What I am seeing everyday is merely a television show. Everyday, the show will always have new content and a new story. Without my glasses, I am only seeing the boring reality.
