The one place where you can lose your best friend
Over an argument about some guy who may not even know your name.
The one place where you can feel so happy,
Then quickly feel so sad and alone,

This is the one place where you may not be accepted,
But instead harassed,
Because you’re a different race,
Social class, Sexuality – whatever,
High school.

This is the place where you will change,
Either for the better, or for worse.
This is the place where you can make a stand,
Forget peoples’ faults and make a difference,
