In Those Old Tissues
All those sorrows sat in those used tissues. No one knew what scary and hurtful thoughts passed through my mind. No one knew how many times i'd sat in the dark playing music to drown out the wracking sobs. No one knew. It just all sat there in my old used tissues. My pain's only trace was sitting in the garbage.
I guess that's why i decided that some things aren't worth the tears and pain. What's the point when there's no help? Sometimes there's no need to paint on a smile.
