How Just One Dance Changed Everything
I was told homecoming would be a magical time and a very fun time this like I said I was told. My aunts woke up and got everything they were gonna need to give me a makeover I had already picked out my outfit it was this green trench coat thing with some leather looking leggins it was a representation of myself. I thought outside the box because I knew everyone girl was gonna be wearing a short dress and high heels so I went the Hailley route and it paid off I looked stunning. I was so happy to go but then my aunts dropped me off and my heart sunk I looked all around and saw these pretty girls with their dates while I was wearing my own style now thinking I was ugly compared to them but to top it off no boy asked me I was asked by my friend to tag along with her boyfriend aka a third wheel. I looked around once I walked into the courtyard and saw some kids I knew then I felt a tap on my shoulder and it was my friend Sabrina she looked pretty with her dress and her boyfriend at her side. We then walked over to a table where I could put our stuff down well as we did I looked around and I started to freak out while Sabrina was forcing me to go out and dance well I ran away to the bathroom and called my best friend Donna she calmed me down a bit but Sabrina yelled at me for running away and calling Donna I then saw Liz she smiled at me and Sabrina saw this and walked over to Liz and asked her to dance with me. I was okay with going to dance with her and me knowing the songs helped but when Liz told me "Go crazy dance to the music your a cool person and who cares what anyone else says just have fun" I laughed and had fun I laughed and jumped up and down note to everyone don't jump in high heel boots. Dancing with Liz changed our friendship and that night in a very positive way and I look forward to next years homecoming!
