Mother Knows Best I guess?
Each day me and my mother arrive home at the same time. When I open the door two loving and excited dogs come running at my feet. When I go to hug my own dog he seems genuinely happy. His tail is wagging and he is giving me kisses freely. When my mother picks him up it is like his battery voltage has been kicked up from five to eleven. He is trying to smother her face and is wagging his tail ecstatically. He seems more loving to her and it makes me jealousy. Every pet I have owned since I was five has always loved her more than me and it makes me furious inside. I want to see that same gleam in his eye that he gives to her. I want him to feel the same way about me that he does her. I guess he is attracted to her mothering ways.
