Eyes

Everyone in our family has different eyes. My eyes are aqua blue and as blue as the sky on a sunny day without the clouds. They’re so blue people always ask if I wear colored contacts, which I don’t. My sister’s eyes are speckled green and brown like a frog, one day they’re greener and other days they’re browner. My brother has grayish-blue eyes that are confident, cocky, and cool. Then there’s my dad who has green piercing eyes that are always glazed over with red from his bad allergies.
But my mom’s eyes, my mom’s eyes that I got my aqua blue eyes from get so white in the sunlight you wonder where her color in her eyes went. Unlike, my eyes where my pupils are the size of a marble. My mom’s eyes that are aqua blue are compassionate and loving. They make you feel safe like when there’s a huge storm out and the house is protecting you from getting rained on.
