Change Brings Loss
Winter has brought its rawness that chills my heart quicker than ice.Seasons have chosen to change and I have gone from warm to numb.
But you’ve changed too, quicker than ice, quicker than I can keep up with.Change brings difference, something I thought I was ready for.Now standing here, embedded in my own blizzard worries, I ache in the cold. You, your world is still warm, unchanged, untouched. In your world change has not extended its icy hand, but a warm one holds your own, and this hand is not mine.
