Jack
I changed out of my school clothes on a nice, hot Friday night. I decided to stay at home alone tonight to catch up on my homework, skin care is done, and I'm reading peacefully in my bed when all of a sudden the lights went out. I go downstairs to investigate, and low and behold, Jack is in a hot pink suit with many of his football friends. Jack decided to throw a party at my house without even asking! So I went to have a little talk with him
“Why are you at my house?”
“I heard you were home alone and I needed someplace to host my party.”
Although I was mad at Jack I understood why he did it. He just wanted to fit in with his football friends. I wanted to yell at him but decided to just walk away instead to calm myself down. I go outside to sit on my porch. I didn’t want to go back inside because I was still in my PJ’s and more and more people kept coming.
Later on in the night I went back inside to check up on things, my house was a mess. Food on the ceiling, kitchen floor was sticky, and things were missing. I decided to not worry about it now and clean it up in the morning. So I went to bed.
I woke up the next morning stressed. My parents were coming home that day and my house was nearly impossible to clean up by myself. I walk out of my room prepared to see the big mess that I previously saw the night before. Everything is clean. The ceilings were cleaned almost to perfection almost like someone painted over it, the floors are so clean I thought I was going to slip. At first I think my parents came home early and cleaned it but Jack walks up the stairs, no longer in his suit with cleaning supplies.
At first I want to thank him but he’s the one that started this mess he should be the one to clean it up. Jack kept apologizing saying he didn’t know that many people were coming, I forgave him and we cleaned the rest of the house together.

I wrote this piece about one of my good friends since middle school and I enjoyed writing this piece because I could have my own thoughts and be creative.
