Mirrors
Mirrors. They show you your reflection. But only the outward one, the physical one. Truly they show nothing, nothing at all. It may show a reflection but not the one you know yourself for. You may look happy and excited, but inside you feel pissed and depressed. But mirrors can be helpful too, they help you make sure you look the way you want everyone to see you. They help cover the bruises or bags under your eyes. They help you make the lie more believable. Sometimes so believable you, too, almost believe it. Almost.
