Each day I see you, you slow down. Your pains and aches worsen, your strength escapes you. You say
you think it'd be easier to just give in, to feel the pain no more. You're fighting the battle but
it feels as if you've already lost the war. Aren't I enough reason to fight' I'm begging you don't
go. Don't give in. Teach me to be strong, I can carry your weight and mine. I'll carry the whole
world if you do this for me. You've held me up my whole life, let me hold you. Give me the pain you
have, I'll take it all without one complaint. Let me take it away from you. If I could have one
wish in the world, I'd wish your pain upon myself. I'd let you fly free, like you deserve to. I
thought good things come to good people, but apparently that's not so because if it was you'd have
all the riches the world has to offer. But instead you're in pain. Watching you breaks my heart.
An arm or a leg can heal, but my heart after losing you never would. So I'll take the pain, I'll
lose that arm or leg or foot, anything opposed to losing my heart, and losing you.
