The Fall
I don’t know how to properly enjoy the fall.
I think the feeling I’m looking for is magic.
I want to enjoy this season like a witch in an old creaking house where leaves blow in the front door and candles flicker in the draft.
I want to drink cider and tea outside at sunrise and sunset and feel, somehow, in danger of blowing away with the green.
I want to be Vianne, pulling shut the unruly shutters of the tiny rented apartment over my chocolate shop, knowing that the sly north wind has come for me and I must soon don my red coat and take my magic and my daughter away into the night.
So here’s my shopping list: Cider, Candles, Wind, Window, Shutters
