My Sister, My Friend
My sister, my friend,
Is an old saying that many siblings have said.
They mean their actual sister,
Who's also one of their best friends.
Well I'm here to give it a new meaning.
My sister, my friend,
My sister,
Someone whom I love and adore,
A person particularly close to me,
Who shall always have a special place in my heart.
A place just for her,
forever.
My sister, my friend,
My friend,
She is my sister,
Since I haven't one.
We're the best of friends,
And always will be.
Our bond is so close,
It's as though we really are sisters.
We know what the other is going to say and beat them to it.
My sister, my friend,
We never want the other to change.
For in each other's eyes we're perfect.
I trust her more than anyone else in the world.
Whether we are laughing, crying-- both,
We are still so happy to have each other.
I love her like my sister,
And that's what I mean when I say,
My Sister, my friend.
