Endanger
What is an endangered species? An endangered species is a type of animal that is at risk of extinction. At risk of being gone from our universe forever. Sometimes extinction can happen from mother nature, but most of the time its from human beings. We cut down millions of trees for paper, destory swaps for roads or buildings, or even kill a tiger for its skin. Some of these animals include: the Leatherback Sea Turtle, the worlds largest turtle, whose population is dropping very fast. The Gorilla, illegal hunting and diseases the hunters bring has nearly wiped them out.The Tiger, which is at the very last string, so tight it might snap in a heartbeat. The Chinese Giant Salamander, the worlds largest amphibian is being eaten into the verge of extinction. And also the Javan Rhinoceros, there is only less than 60 left of these swap-dwelling creatures. And Millions of more animals are being walked off the edge of the earth.
These animals may not matter to you at all. Like what is a Saola? But when your children ask you what happened to the Tigers, and Turtles, and Saloals, and Pandas, and the birds, what are you going to tell them? That the human race brushed them to the side because they didn’t matter? That we killed them all off years ago? Well that would be the truth. That would be the truth if we don’t stop it today. People may say, “ Well there’s nothing I could do.” There is something. Use less paper and try to recycle as much as you can. Carpool more often so you use less gas and oil. Try to help organizations that are trying to save these animals. I believe that there are animals on this Earth for a reason and I believe that if we, the people don’t change are ways, they won’t be here for long.
