Musical Interlude MAG
In the corner, behind the bookshelf
Hidden away from my guilty eyes
I try to forget
But she's there
Looming in the cobwebs of my memories, she remains
I know that she is sad because I have forgotten her
I can hear it in her tone
She rattles and shrieks like a rejected child
She begs for me to hold her
All alone for days, months, years
One day she will emerge,
old and tired,
when I am selfishly ready to try again
Her voice will be marred, her body deteriorated
But she will still endure me
and the music will play
My once loved
Violin
