I Wonder MAG
On rare occasions when I have little homework, no meetings to attend, or chores, I often silently wonder to myself. I wonder about the craziest events and subjects. Sometimes I wonder why red and white make pink or why does a violin string vibrate and produce wondrous musical melodies?
I study my skin, my hair and my eyes. I wonder why. Why does high pigmentation make people darker instead of lighter? Why do I have three hairs on my toe and millions on my head?
At times I attempt to figure out how the first word was ever spoken and why Newton was not satisfied with plain algebra instead of calculus?
It is all a mystery. Mystery is the mother of all thought and explanation. From the cave man to the contemporary man, human beings have wondered like I often do. How are we here? Why do we think? How come one's favorite color is blue and pickles make Sean sick and Julie cry?
Hmmmm, I wonder. Is life an art? For one is free to express. Is life a science? For it is full of questions and answers, origins and ends. Or is life a mystery? For it seems to be a combination of both art and science. No. Life is beauty. And this I know because "The most beautiful thing we can experience is the mysterious. It is the source of all true art and science." c
