Mrs. Parks
The person I would like to nominate for Teacher of the Year is Debbie Parks. She is a speech and language teacher, and she teaches Social class at the Newton School in Sterling Virginia. I work with her in class, and she helps me improve my social skills. She helps me get ready for high school. She is also kind of like a therapist, because I tell her some stuff that happens outside of school, and she helps me understand them. If I have a problem, I just go to her. She understands me, and finally I have a person who agrees with my opinion. I admire her, and respect her. Mrs. Parks is very patient and fair; she is always willing to listen. I work with her during lunch and after school with friends. During this time she is very helpful and tries to get me more friends. She helps me stay out of trouble, and she is very nice. I am so lucky to have Mrs. Parks at the right time in my life.
