Q.What was it like to serve in the army?
A. I was a Military Police Officer. I was stationed in Ft Carson, Co. 984th MP Company, 4th Infantry Division Mechanized. My Military duties varied from being a police officer, running the lost and found along with Vehicle Impound and being the Unit Armor (taking care of the Company weapons). We were able to go places and do things in our area like camping in the Rocky Mountains, white water rafting and mountain climbing. In my Unit, we worked our shifts, some times 12 to 24 hour shifts 5 to 7 days a week, but our Company Commander made sure we all were able to do all kinds of fun things as a unit while we where stationed there.
