Small Town
I was live in a town where there’s only 450 people living here. Everyone knows everyone. You can wave at pretty much anybody that drives past you. The high school doesn’t have “cliques” or “groups”. There are three main sports: hockey, figure skating and baseball. Everyone gets excited because of a simple shoot out in hockey. You’re given a lot of attention because of a simple thing like saving a goal or getting a goal. Famous In A Small Town- Miranda Lambert: “They say life is so much sweeter through the telephoto lens of fame, around here you get just as much attention cheering at the high school football game.” The town described in this song is a lot like my town. I don’t think I’ll ever need anything too complex- I’m a simple girl. Small towns do that to you.
