Look into the rain.
Sometimes I climb the tallest hill to sit upon its peak and look into the rain and cry. The clouds shadows hide my presence and the thunder blankets my screams. I find myself relating to the lightning as it lashes out at innocence and helplessness, fueling the clashes of rage and misery and fear but having no control over its outbursts of pain. I let the drops of rain mix with my tears and i become one with earth and i suffer. I let the storm engulf me and i survive.
One day, as i climb the tallest hill to sit upon its peak and look into the rain i will remember and as my soul is finally set free i will find myself and be at peace at last.
