You and I

Somewhere along this thin line, there is someone who is always there. I can wake them up at night. I can share the darkest of secrets. I can make a fool of myself. I can laugh until I cry and cry until there are no tears left. I will always be seen. I will always be heard. I will always know that I belong. I will not question. I will not be mistreated. I will not flirt with loneliness. I will always know that they will be there, that I will always be a priority.
But what they won't be, is you and that is what I cannot deal with.
