Dreamscapes
The first colors of the day slowly seeped into my room, light kissing each object and bringing it to life. My eyelids were heavy with fading dreams and forgotten moments, I am leaving them behind in the still-zone of my mind. I'll be back, no doubt about it, but the stories I am told in the dark of night are too precious to be tarnished by the anxiety and misdemeanors of the day, so I leave them here, for safekeeping- my dreams, my memories, my writing. I call this state of mind Wonderwall, leaving delusions behind and preparing for the disappointment that is reality, but that's okay, I'll be back tonight, to forget reality, and cross back over into the dreamscape.
