Being the son of two Mexican parents and knowing what they’ve been through really motivates me a lot in a my education and my character. It pushes me to succeed, not give up, and be the best person I can be. My mother would always tell me she came to the US, just to live a better life, not only for herself, but for her children. She wanted to see us live a future and a career we’re comfortable in. My family all have their own goals. They would not give in when they see how far they’ve achieved. Me and my siblings are fulfilling our parents’ wish to be smart, mature, and have the potential to go somewhere in life. My dream job is so far out of reach and it’s like a mix of dreams. I haven’t decided on what to focus on. Maybe over time, I will finally choose. No matter what, I will succeed.
