I Don't Mind
Do you ever wake up and feel like you’re not yourself, or off for some reason? That’s me almost every day. You may see me happy, but that’s a lie. Sure things make me happy, but after a laugh, I go back into my shell. I isolate myself. Maybe being lonely could be the cause of my depression. I know it’s not good, but that’s my way of protecting myself. People have told me to be more positive. I’ve tried but no. They try to help, but don’t understand. That just makes me feel worse. It’s scary to ask for help. Help never works, it just feels like I’m going through the situation all over again. I’ve dealt with this for so long that it becomes so normal. I don’t notice it.
