Eyes
Everyone in my family has different colored eyes. My mother has soft light green eyes. They are quiet like a library. My father's eyes are a loud brown. Deep and rich like the chocolate covered cherries he hides in the cabinets. My brothers eyes are hazel. Like those carmel apple suckers we got in middle school. A little sour but mostly sweet. They look like my fathers but they act like my mothers. My eyes are a forest. Dark green with trees. Loud like my fathers but soft like my mothers.
But my puppy, my puppies eyes are a murky lake. Bluish brown but just clear enough to see the bottom. They are glossy like the sweetest smelling donut. Easy to fall into and hard to come out of.
