A SUNFLOWER
I AM A SUNFLOWER
A LITTLE FUNNY
IF I WERE A ROSE
MAYBE YOU WANT ME

It was 20th august my birthday. At 12:00 my sisters came and wished me, as my brother was not home so I waited for him all the night and the next day but he didn’t even look at me and wished me. Next day when he came home I asked him.
“Hello! Can we talk” I said that fiercely. He passed away like nothing happened.
“Listen to me” I hold his hand and stopped him.
“What” he said.
“I am sorry for everything but it’s my birthday and you didn’t wish me”
“What birthday, Maria. What? Have I asked you to say sorry to me. Please grow up” he said and left like nothing happened.
I was crying standing there but he didn’t even looked back. He was the most important person to me, but he never cared for me. Never looked at me and never cared for me. Why? Because I am a sunflower because I am a not a rose like my other siblings. Because I don’t have that smell that attract others. Because I don’t have that color that everyone likes, so what if I am a sunflower, I am a flower of my own kind. So what if I don’t have that pleasant smell like others, I have my own personality. So what if I am different and I am not those who you like.
I know that and you should also know that everyone has not got a good taste and every one cannot identify the importance and the existence of a sunflower. They also exist and are more beautiful than roses. They last long and have a much better color than roses. They don’t hurt you like roses. Roses are beautiful from the outside but they also have thorns. Sunflowers can catch your eyes from far. There not many people who have a good taste. So trust and believe in yourself and continue your journey being a sunflower
